This teapot is known as Zengmao (Monk's cap). It was fully handmade by a veteran artist YIN Guo Xin 尹國新 who has made zisha teapots more than 20 years. It is very difficult to make it by fully handmade, precious few artist can make it. Its craftwork is very nice. The shape is very beautiful with quaint-looking. It shows that the artist’s work is remarkable.
The clay is an old purple clay from Huanglongshan. It has lots of mica and very good air permeablity. This high level teapot is much more expensive in the markets.
