This is an old teapot made by the Yixing Zisha Craftwork Factory around 1980s. This pot is called "Linghua" means water-caltrop flower. It is decorated with Linghua carving and has a strong sense of contemparaneity.
The clay is an old purple clay called black clay containing a lot of iron particles and mica which are very good for brewing tea. Its looking will become as drak jade after using for a period. It is both worth appreciating and collecting.
