This teapot is known as Xiaoying pot (means a smiling sakura) which created by the Zisha Master GU Jingzhou. This pot was fully handmade with pure Huanglongshan purple clay.
Its forming is very difficult and requires the artisan's outstanding craftwork. The artist is a veteran artisan Li Nan 李嵐 who learns making zisha teapots from the famous master HE Weifong 何惠楓 and forces on making traditional teapots for many years.
The shape of the teapot is very elegant and closed to the Master GU’s original one. It is rich in artistic value and worths collecting.
